How many times have you felt like disappearing?
- That time you spoke up at work, and the room fell silent. No one backed you.
- That time you set a boundary, and suddenly, you were ‘too much.’ Too aggressive. Too difficult. Too loud.
- That time you realised you were being paid less, respected less, seen less.
- That time you were the only Black, Brown, or Mixed Heritage Woman in the room, carrying the weight of ‘representing’ everyone who looked like you.
We learn early how to shrink, adjust, survive. To laugh off the comments. To work twice as hard for half the credit. To choose silence over being labelled ‘angry.’ 🙄
But where does all of that go?
Where does it sit in your body? In your mind? In your spirit?
How much of you has been left behind in spaces that were never meant to hold you?
This Space Is Different.
No code-switching. No performance. No explaining. Just you.
I’m Power-Meant is a space where you don’t have to fight to be heard. Where your anger is valid. Where your exhaustion is seen. Where your joy is celebrated, not questioned.
A space where you can lay it all down – without fear of being judged, dismissed, or silenced.
We don’t ask you to show up perfectly. We ask you to show up as you are.
Who Is This For?
For the Women who carry the weight of the world and still show up anyway. For the Women who were told to “be strong” but never given space to rest. For the Women who want to heal but don’t know where to begin. For the Women who are done waiting for permission to take up space.
And for the Men who want to be part of this conversation, Episode 7 is open for Black, Brown, and Mixed Heritage Men, creating space for the dialogues that need to happen.
Show Up for Yourself. No One Else Will Do It for You.
This nine-part series runs every two weeks from Thursday, 20 March 2025, at 7 PM GMT. Attend one session, attend them all. But whatever you do – just show up!
