Why do we only celebrate when we’ve “made it”?

We clap for the big wins—the promotions, the milestones, the moments that feel impossible to ignore—but what about everything else?

  • What about the days when you stood your ground instead of backing down?

  • What about the moments when you chose yourself instead of pouring from an empty cup?

  • What about the quiet victories—the ones no one sees, but you feel deep in your bones?

Why do we only feel worthy of celebration once we’ve arrived?

The truth is, you are not just your achievements. You are the journey. You are the progress. You are the effort, the growth, the resilience, the showing up. EVERY. SINGLE. DAY!

Who Taught Us That We Have to Earn Our Worth?

For so many Black, Brown, and Mixed Heritage Women, we’ve been raised to believe that we have to be exceptional to deserve space. That success must be visible, validated, and undeniable before we are worthy of recognition.

But what if we celebrated ourselves for existing, not just achieving? What if joy didn’t have to be earned? What if rest didn’t have to be justified? What if we gave ourselves the flowers now—instead of waiting for the world to decide when we deserve them?

I’m Power-Meant Is That Space.

🌿 A space to acknowledge every version of you—before, during, and after the success.

🔥 A space to celebrate progress, not just the final product.

💡 A space to remind you that your value isn’t measured in productivity.

This is a space to be, not just to prove.

You Deserve Your Flowers Now.

This nine-part series runs every two weeks from Thursday, 20 March 2025, at 7 PM GMT. Not because you need to learn how to be more. But because you already are enough.
