What does it mean to be a Woman?
Not the version they taught us. Not the version shaped by expectations, sacrifice, or survival. Not the version defined by age, motherhood, career, or relationships.
The truth? Womanhood is lived in the quiet moments, the hard decisions, the wins no one claps for. It’s every time you choose yourself – at 16, at 40, at 75.
It’s the teenage girl biting her tongue in classrooms where her voice feels too loud. It’s the career Woman hiding exhaustion behind “I’m fine.” It’s the grandmother watching history repeat itself, knowing she fought for the world to be better by now.
Womanhood is evolving. But it’s also remembering.
In the Rites of Passage framework, Womanhood is never one thing. It’s starting over after life didn’t go to plan. It’s learning to love a body the world taught you to resent. It’s finally saying no without guilt.
And yet, where do we talk about it? Who teaches us how to meet each version of ourselves without shame, fear, or uncertainty?
I’m Power-Meant exists for that reason.
To hold space for Women – of every age, every stage, every experience. To remind us that Womanhood doesn’t expire. It expands.
What Does Womanhood Look Like Here?
🌸 For Young Women: A space where confidence isn’t punished and softness isn’t mistaken for weakness.
🏃🏽♀️ For Women in Their Prime: A space where you can pause, reassess, and pivot without judgment.
👑 For Elders: A space where wisdom is valued and stories are passed down, not erased.
This is Womanhood beyond the labels.
💭 What if your worth wasn’t tied to how much you produce?
💭 What if ageing was seen as power, not loss?
💭 What if softness didn’t make you vulnerable but untouchable?
SisDr’s work has always been about this. Reclaiming the fullness of Womanhood – not the version shaped by Eurocentric ideals, but the one rooted in Cultural wisdom, Ancestral strength, and Spiritual truth.
There’s No Age Limit on Becoming Who You Are.
I’m Power-Meant invites you to explore every version of yourself – past, present, and future. Because being a Woman is not a single moment. It’s the way you show up for yourself, every single day.
This nine-part series runs every two weeks from Thursday, 20 March 2025, at 7 PM GMT. You don’t have to attend every session, but every session reminds you of who you’ve always been.
