For many Black, Brown, and Mixed Heritage Women, survival has often felt like a solo act. We were taught to push through, hold it down, stay strong—even when it hurts. But the truth is, we were never meant to carry all of it alone.

Some of our deepest wounds weren’t just personal. They were collective. So our healing? That needs to be collective too.

That’s what Sistah Sister Circles is about. Relearning how to be held. How to be witnessed. How to let your truth rise without fear of being too much or not enough.

Sisterhood Isn’t Always Easy, But It’s Always Worth Reclaiming!

Sisterhood isn’t always soft. Many of us have been hurt by the very Women we hoped would hold us. Competition. Comparison. Conditional closeness. The lost goes on. . .

Some of us became independent out of necessity, not choice. We learned to not need. To be the strong one. To give more than we received. But now, we’re unlearning.

Because real Sisterhood doesn’t demand perfection. It asks for presence, trust, and time.

We Deserve Real Community

As Sistah Sisters, we come from lineages where community was sacred. Where healing happened in circles, not silos. Where Women sat with each other, cried together, created together, and reminded each other of who they are.

Somewhere along the way, many of us got pulled out of that rhythm. Life got busy. Pain made us isolate. Competition crept in.

But we’re remembering now. And we’re returning. 🌿
